можешь ли ты поверить в то, что это мой последний список хорошего в две тысячи семнадцатом году? я не могу! время летит, действительно летит. очередной год подходит к концу. мой декабрь получился и очень сложным, и очень радостным. в целом, это был хороший месяц, как и год. я рада поделиться этим списком с тобой и я предлагаю тебе выделить время на то, чтобы написать такой же. эта идея может стать замечательной привычкой, которая в свою очередь сделает твой следующий год жизни лучше всех тех, что были до. просто попробуй!

can you even believe that this is my final good things list of two thousand seventeen? i cannot! time flies, it literally flies. the year is almost over, and here i am, telling you about my december. this month was both extremely challenging and joyful. all in all, it was a good month, as well as two thousand seventeen was a really good year. i am happy to share this list with you, and i would like you to make some time to write one as well. it might become an enjoyable habit, which will make your next year much better than the ones you have had before. just try!

reading report / december

в прошлом году я писала тексты о книгах и чтении только время от времени. например, были посты о важности чтения в моей жизни, о пяти книгах, прочтенных за восемь дней, а также о пяти обязательных к прочтению книгах, выбранных мною из тех, что я прочла за последние двенадцать месяцев. кроме того, я периодически публиковала подборки с цитатами: из книги регины бретт, из автобиографии моррисии, из писем ван гога и второй книги софии аморузо. но год назад я поняла, что хочу писать о книгах регулярно, после чего я придумала эту ежемесячную рубрику "читательский отчет", благодаря которой у меня появилась возможность рассказывать тебе о прочтенных мною книгах и впечатлениях от них. в декабре я прочла всего одну большую книгу и несколько маленьких, но каждая из них была особенно хороша. 

i used to write texts about books and reading from time to time last year. for example, i had a post about the importance of reading in my life and about five books that i had read in eight days. also, i sometimes shared quotes from books: by regina brett and morrissey`s autobiography. however, a year ago, i realized that i wanted to write about reading and books on a regular basis, that is how i came up with an idea for my "reading report" series. it has been a huge pleasure for me to be able to share my impressions from the books that i had read every single month with you. this is my twelfth reading report. i have read just one long book and a few short ones in december, but each of them was especially good.

good things list / december

here it is! the final month of the year is almost over. i have been writing good things lists for twelve months in a row now. can you even believe it? this was the first one, right after i started the blog and a few months before i decided to follow a monthly plan. have you already tried it? if no - it is definitely time to. after a year of doing so, i can guarantee you that it is not an easy exercise, but undoubtedly a worthy one, the one that really helps you and changes your mindset little by little.

it seems like nothing happened in december and everything did. i had a major shift in my mind, which turned me into the happiest person for a short period of time and gave me motivation for a long run. the best way to describe this month is to say that it was a preparation for january, in particular, and a new year, in general. it resembled to a busy sunday, the one you spend doing things that you could probably deal with on monday, but you decide that you would like to be ready and have a shorter to-do list for the week. sometimes you feel like you should stop and have fun or do nothing instead, but at the end of the day you realize that it was the best decision and waking up on monday is not a stressful torture anymore. this is exactly how i feel about december coming to its end and the start of january. i am as prepared as one could be, and i got here thanks to making quite an effort!

on positivity and dealing with creative block

if you do anything creative, you know those moments, when you seem to be totally useless and helpless. you either have no ideas or you see no ways to develop them into something proper. of course, struggling is common and you are aware of it, but you do not remember it being this bad, so it dejects you. making new attempts does not help, and you keep on torturing yourself with all sorts of negative thoughts. it gets harder all the time, so at some point you stop trying, because you are drained. as a result, you get an extra reason to critisize yourself and to be really hard on yourself...the vicious circle is permanent, unless you break out of it. i do realize that even if you have nothing in common with creative activities, those states are familiar to you too. basically, this is going to be a kick in the ass for anyone, who is trying to do something a little outside of the necessary minimum, something special. actually, i believe this post is going to be valuable for anyone who has ever struggled with something, which makes it literally anyone among us, human beings.

first winter days

december started last thursday and brought us real winter right away. as i left home early in the morning, the snow was falling slowly, but steadily, whereas when i got outside two hours later, everything was covered with a thick layer of snow and there were snowdrifts everywhere. actually, such weather started a few days prior, but it did not matter. proper snow on the first day of winter did!

i met niklas schütt in order to interview him for thefashioncrowd.com and i was amazed by how determined and hard-working he was! giving up his architecture studies in order to pursue his dream and become a fashion designer, getting an internship at a fashion brand without any experience, studying at central saint martins and instituto marangoni at the same time, moving from germany to england and then to france (not knowing the language that well), interning at lanvin and then moving to givenchy - that`s a brief way to let you know what niklas` life has been like for five years! people who are so devoted to their dreams are incredibly inspiring to me, and that is why i wanted you to meet niklas too!

я познакомилась с никласом шюттом, чтобы взять у него интервью для thefashioncrowd.com и меня поразили его решительность и трудолюбие. он бросил изучение архитектуры ради исполнения своей мечты - стать дизайнером одежды, устроился на стажировку в дом моды без какого-либо опыта в этой сфере, одновременно учился в central saint martins и instituto marangoni, переехал из германии в англию, а потом - во францию (почти не зная французского), стажировался в lanvin и недавно перешел в givenchy - вот экспресс-описание того, какой была жизнь никласа последние пять лет. люди, настолько преданные своим мечтам, невероятно меня вдохновляют, а потому я хотела и тебя познакомить с ним!

what is the main reason to enjoy december? upcoming holidays, of course (du-u-uh)! decorations are everywhere. it is literally impossible to not notice or ignore the holiday mood, and there is an important part of it - presents! all of us need to buy presents. to me, it is a special kind of pleasure. i lo-o-o-ove looking for things for someone. on top of that, i prefer to also wrap it in paper a-a-and add a lovely card. of course, i need to find and buy them too. and, although, this year i seem to be struggling more than i usually do, it is still a very happy time for me.

today i decided to share with you a couple of ideas of what could be a nice gift. and to make it more convenient i chose one and only one web-site which has all sorts of things (you may think they only sell clothes, but no) and, what is equally important, which delivers everywhere (well, almost) and even to ukraine, yay! if you are from europe or the states, you are in a much better situation, but for us, buying online and getting it delivered is a whole story. anyway, let`s begin! bonus - some things are already on sale! 

so, let`s start with the cards. i suggest you to buy a set, as it is cheaper, and it is quite convenient if you plan to congratulate a number of people. i hope you do! have a look at this one! you can give a card to someone directly or send it by post (yes, someone still uses post. i do!). 

and now, the main part! first option - socks. i am a fan of socks and i collect them. i have socks with burgers and fries, all sorts of animals and boats and various patterns. in winter i love wearing socks with santa, penguins, deers or snowflakes. YES, i really do love socks. i know, socks are considered a horrible present, but i do not agree. socks can be a great present. you just have to be creative. for example, you can choose these socks with winter motives, these ones with santa and a weird something or a bit cuter ones like these (yes, they are for girls).

fi-i-ine, you do no think that socks are a good idea. let`s move on. notebooks. almost everyone needs them, right? some use them for studying, others - for work/journaling/doodling and many other options. so, how about a set of two red moleskine journals? it is a great combination - beautiful and practical! 

you would like something even "more proper"? then i suggest you to buy a book, but with a twist of fun. for example, burgers` recipes or a book about beards. these are definitely options for boys. what about girls? for them i have a book of mindfulness or a book of positivity. girls like this kind of stuff.

a classy option for boys - a bow-tie. i used to enjoy wearing them myself, and i must tell you that such a detail changes the whole outfit for the better! and a set of rings for a girl. 

looking for a unisex option? a cute glass is what you need.

p.s. if this year you cannot buy presents, there is an option of creating them with your hands. for example, you can bake cookies and put them in a beauitufl bag or even a box! i am sure that such a present will be valued even more than a bought one! 

основная причина наслаждаться декабрем? безусловно, приближающиеся праздники! украшения - повсюду, так что не заметить или игнорировать предпраздничное настроение попросту невозможно. важной частью этого периода, конечно же, являются подарки! всем нам нужно их купить. для меня это особое удовольствие. я о-о-о-очень люблю искать подарки. кроме того, мне нравится упаковывать их в специальную бумагу и добавлять к ним милые открытки. конечно, и то и другое также нужно купить. и несмотря на то, что в этом году выбор подарков дается мне сложнее обычного, это все же очень радостное время. 

сегодня я решила поделиться с тобой несколькими идеями подарков, которые можно купить в интернете. для того, чтобы все упростить, я использовала лишь один сайт, на котором есть самые разные вещи (возможно, ты думаешь, что там можно купить только одежду, но это не так), и который доставляет покупки по всему миру (ну, почти по всему). в украину - таки доставляет. итак, приступим! приятный бонус - на некоторые вещи уже есть скидка!

начать предлагаю с открыток! советую тебе купить набор, ведь так дешевле и удобнее, если собираешься поздравлять многих людей, а я надеюсь, что это именно так. как тебе такой вариант? открытку можно подарить при встрече или же отправить по почте (да-да, кто-то до сих пор пользуется ею. например, я). 

переходим к основной части! первый вариант - носки. я - фанат носков, и я их коллекционирую. у меня есть носки с бургерами и картошкой фри, животными и лодками, а также самыми разными узорами. зимой мне нравится носить носки с сантой, пингвинами, оленями и снежинками. ДА, я действительно очень люблю носки. я знаю, что носки считаются отвратительным подарком, но я с этим не согласна. носки могут быть классными подарком, просто нужно быть изобретательным. например, ты можешь выбрать эти носки с зимними мотивами, эти с сантой и чем-то странным или же более милые, как эти (да, они для девочек). 

ладно-ладно, ты не думаешь, что носки это хорошая идея. идем дальше. блокноты. они нужны практически всем, верно? кому-то - для учебы, кому-то - для работы, ведения личных записей, рисования и многих других вариантов. так как насчет набора из двух красных журналов moleskine? отличное сочетание - и красиво и практично!

хотелось бы "более полноценный" подарок? тогда я предлагаю тебе купить книгу, но слегка развлекательную. например, с рецептами бургеров или про бороду. конечно же, такие варианты подходят парням, а что насчет девушек? для них можно выбрать книгу об осознанном подходе к жизни или о позитиве. да, девушкам такое нравится.

первоклассный подарок для парня - бабочка. раньше мне и самой нравилось их носить, и должна сказать, что эта маленькая деталь преображает любой наряд. а для девушки - можно выбрать набор колечек.

ищешь вариант унисекс? милый стаканчик - вот то, что тебе нужно.

что думаешь? а, может, ты уже купил(а) подарки, тогда расскажи мне о них. 

p.s. а если в этом году у тебя нет возможности покупать подарки, всегда есть вариант сделать их своими руками. например, можно испечь печенье и сложить его в красивый пакетик или даже коробочку. я уверена, такой подарок оценят еще больше, чем купленный!
