fanny ekstrand is a swedish blogger, whom i discovered on instagram. it is so funny to acknowledge, but it seems like i have always followed her posts, even though that is not the case. i love when people dress in unconventional ways. clothes are such an important part of my identity. i am excited by the way fanny dresses as much as i am by her attitude. every post by fanny is a source of inspiration for me, and it is a little push to keep on making small steps on the self-discovery journey in terms of style. i wanted you to meet her, so i sent her my updated questionnaire. and, luckily, she replied right away. it was another reason to admire her. fanny is twenty three years old, and she is based in stockholm. she works as a content creator on social media and brand consultant. also, she runs a fashion blog and does a podcast "add to bag" with her friend viola bergström. check fanny`s answers down below and make sure that you follow her on instagram for more inspiration.

в августе я провела несколько дней во львове и вернулась в местный магазин "щось цікаве", наполненный маленькими чудесами, которые хочется увезти с собой и раздарить всем самым близким. из него я ушла с открытками и стикерами иллюстратора насти слепцовой, за которой можно следить на instagram и tumblr. три года назад она переехала из крыма во львов, где теперь живет и работает. ее иллюстрации кажутся мне очень теплыми и уютными. мне хочется сохранять их, ставить на рабочий стол и покупать все, что делает настя. с августа я наклеиваю ее стикеры на все используемые мною блокноты и отправляемые мною открытки, а вскоре планирую покупать новую порцию. к счастью, для этого не нужно ехать во львов. у насти есть свой онлайн-магазин на etsy, где можно легко и быстро сделать заказ. я очень рада тому, что настя ответила на мой вопросник, а теперь я могу рассказать тебе о ней и дать возможность узнать ее немного лучше.

in august, i spent a few days in lvov, when i came back to a local store "shchos_cikave", which is full of little wonders that you want to bring with you and give to those whom you appreciate the most. i left that charming place with postcards and stickers created by an illustrator nastia sleptsova. you can follow her on instagram and tumblr. she moved from crimea to lvov three years ago, and that is where she currently lives and works. i find her illustrations to be warm and very cozy. i want to save them all, use them on all of my screens and buy anything nastia creates. i have been using her stickers all over my notebooks and postcards since august. they are almost over, so i am going to order a new portion in the nearest future. luckily, it is possible to do it without going to lvov. nastia has an online-store on etsy, where you can order her creations quickly and easily. i am very glad that nastia agreed to answer my questionnaire, and that i am now able to introduce you to her, as well as enable you to get to know her a bit better.

meet carol

в сентябрьском списке хорошего я упомянула о том, что в моей жизни появился новый проект - приложение сoncept office, а сегодня я хочу познакомить тебя с его со-основатильницей кэрол. после длительных путешествий и поиска себя она переехала в роттердам вместе с мужем и двумя собаками. мне нравятся эти опросники потому, что это отличная возможность узнать кого-то получше. например, я и понятия не имела о том, что семь лет назад у кэрол и ее мужа был свой магазин дизайнерских кожанных аксессуаров в минске, а потом появился онлайн-магазин на etsy. в процессе его развития пришла идея создать приложение, с помощью которого можно было бы продвигать бренд. в результате, все кардинально изменилось и вылилось в то, чем сейчас является сoncept оffice - главное дело в жизни кэрол. у concept office также есть страница в instagram, где как раз можно читать мои интервью с героями, а у кэрол - не менее красивая и интересная персональная страница. очень советую, а ниже ты сможешь узнать о кэрол чуть больше.

in my september good things list i have already mentioned that there is a new creative project in my life - an app, called сoncept office, whereas today i would like you to meet carol, one of its co-founders. after lengthy travelling and self-search she has recently moved to rotterdam with her husband and two dogs. i enjoy doing these questionnaires, because they are always an opportunity to get to know someone a little better. for example, i had no idea that carol and her husband used to have their own store in minsk, where they sold leather accessories, seven years ago. while growing their brand, they came up with an idea to create an app which would help with that. in the end, everything changed a lot, but turned into what concept office is today. and, it is now the main project in carol`s life. by the way, concept office has an instagram page and so does carol. i recommend following both profiles and scrolling more to read my mini-interview with carol.

rules exist to be broken sometimes, right? i am saying so, because i would like you to meet someone who is far from being in her twenties, but it did not stop me from sending her my tiny questionnaire for the blog, which is dedicated to being in your twenties. i believe we can always learn from one another, so why loose the opportunity? i knew that i would do it again, when i did an interview with christie, and yes, here i am! i found out about nadja bolding, because she is a ksenia schnaider customer, so when she posted a picture wearing demi-denims, i saw her profile and started following her right away. i rarely do it. i follow a lot of people, yes, but i only follow those, who post things that i really enjoy. the more time went by, the clearer it became that nadja has an amazing aesthetic - the way she gets dressed, the way her room looks, the way she puts things together, the way she captures her life. so, when i started thinking about people whom i would like to feature on my blog this year, i knew she would definitely be among them. her page is a source of inspiration, a pleasure for your eye and i want you to not only see that, but also know about nadja a little bit more.

here comes the final part of a questionnaire, taken from shakespeare and company cafe in paris last year. the process of thinking well and looking for answers has definitely been an exciting and an enjoyable one. activities like this one undoubtedly help us understand ourselves better, and even show us something we did not know was there. to have a full picture, you can read part one and part two. i am looking forward to answering these questions a few years later and comparing my answers. 

meet alina kolot

as always i am extremely excited to share a new short interview with someone creative, hard-working and inspirational. today it is alina kolot. every time i see alina`s pictures on instagram, i am overwhelmed by how fabulous paris is, as well as by the fact that even every day life can be this beautiful too. however, it is important to point out that the way alina sees and captures the world is universal, because her images from kiev and crimea are equally outstanding. as you could understand, alina is a photographer. her story is especially interesting, because she graduated from university in kiev with a degree in "design and development of industrial and civil engineering" and then realized she wanted to become a professional photographer instead. she has been taking pictures for quite a while, but did not take it as seriously, as she later would. alina moved to paris to study at speos paris photographic institute, which she has successfully graduated from last year. i met alina last autumn and was happy to find out that she did not only take great pictures, but was also a very interesting and pleasant human being to spend time with. you can see alina`s work on her web-site, as well as follow her on instagram, where she has two pages - a private and a professional one. meanwhile, right now you have a chance to get to know alina a little bit more.

questionnaire / part one

last autumn i was lucky to be in paris, when my favourite and the most special bookstore "shakespeare and company" opened a coffee shop next door. obviously, i thought they needed one, but i had no idea it was a project in progress. so, when one day i saw a picture of a paper cup of coffee with a geotag "shakespeare and company café", i could not believe my eyes. naturally, it took me some time to come there. now i find it outrageous, because i lived really-really close to it, but somehow i did not go there right away. then there was a very bad day with my mood being very low, so i got dressed and left home. i walked and walked around the neighbourhood and finally "arrived" to the entrance of the cafe. oh, how excited i was. even before entering it, my heart became warm. the place itself was small and there were not that many tables, but there was one free place next to the window, a perfect one for me. i got there with my tiny paper cup of coffee with a new book that i have just bought at the store and i looked outside. it was a perfect moment. i felt so good. all of my worries were forgotten. i was happy.

meet gloria garcía

i love my "meet" section, but unfortunately it has not been updated for a while. and i am sorry for it! i hope to have regular posts in it in the future, but for now we have what we have. today i would like you to meet a very talented illustrator from spain - gloria garcia. i mentioned her work in my previous post, and i was very lucky, because gloria responded right away! i have already told you that i am a fan of illustrations. from my point of view, they make every article so much more outstanding and special. this is why when i found out about gloria cooperating with us for thefashioncrowd.com, i was extremely happy. to have an illustrator, who is ready to create beautiful works for your texts is a real treasure! anyway, i should stop talking right now and let you meet gloria or gloglo garcia! by the way, you can follow her on instagram and tumblr.

- for me it is a time to discover oneself, to learn and to have good experiences.

- it is very difficult to name one. i find it in painting, fashion photography and it-girls from the 60-s.
