fanny ekstrand is a swedish blogger, whom i discovered on instagram. it is so funny to acknowledge, but it seems like i have always followed her posts, even though that is not the case. i love when people dress in unconventional ways. clothes are such an important part of my identity. i am excited by the way fanny dresses as much as i am by her attitude. every post by fanny is a source of inspiration for me, and it is a little push to keep on making small steps on the self-discovery journey in terms of style. i wanted you to meet her, so i sent her my updated questionnaire. and, luckily, she replied right away. it was another reason to admire her. fanny is twenty three years old, and she is based in stockholm. she works as a content creator on social media and brand consultant. also, she runs a fashion blog and does a podcast "add to bag" with her friend viola bergström. check fanny`s answers down below and make sure that you follow her on instagram for more inspiration.

two years of blogging

ровно два года назад, второго ноября я опубликовала свой первый пост в блоге. я помню как писала этот короткий текст, находясь в париже. я жутко переживала и даже боялась, сомневалась до последнего перед анонсом публикации и потом еще много раз в процессе. и как же чертовски я рада тому, что не позволяла этому страху остановить меня и продолжала делать то, что хотела делать больше всего - писать. как же быстро летит время! и сколько всего произошло за эти два года <3 кстати, о том, что за период был в моей жизни перед созданием блога, я рассказала в прошлом году в этом тексте. 

exactly two years ago, on the second of november i published my first blog post. i remember writing that short text, while being in paris. i remember being nervous and anxious, doubtful even before announcing this post and sharing it. and i remember feeling those emotions again and again on numerous occasions after that. i am extremely glad that i did not let that fear stop me, that i kept on doing what i wanted to do the most - write! time flies, and it is unbelievable how much have changes in two years <3 by the way, you can read about the period of my life before starting the blog in this post of mine from last year.

exactly a year ago i clicked on "publish" for the first time here, on the blog. this post became a new chapter for me. also i wrote this one in order to explain better what the whole "what being twenty is like" concept was about. since then i have published ninety four posts and i cannot wait to write more. so what was it all like for me three hundred sixty six days ago?

good things list / may

it is going to be summer in a couple of days. i cannot believe it!!! summer, already! spring has been as fast as a space ship, but it was full of enjoyable moments and good things. it is time to remind myself what may was like and get ready for a better upcoming june. i must confess, that it was not easy to find ten things to write down this time, but i did it. hopefully, you will to :)

meet olga kotrus

first person i would like you to meet in two thousand sixteen is a writer olga kotrus. she is from kherson (ukraine), but has been living in paris for three years. after her move she founded a blog spirit of paris and started organizing private excursions around paris to show its most charming parts. every time i read her text, i feel how big her heart is. the beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this is very true, as olga shows you can be as in love with ukraine as you are with france in her recent posts on instagram and facebook from the trip back home. there are not that many genuine people today, but she is definitely one of them. and her stories will instantly make you feel something.

первым человеком, с которым я хотела бы познакомить тебя в две тысячи шестнадцатом году (хотя, скорее всего, ты её уже знаешь), является ольга котрус. она родом из херсона, но последние три года живет в париже. после переезда оля основала блог spirit of paris  и начала проводить частные экскурсии по парижу с целью показать самые очаровательные его части. каждый раз когда я читаю её текст, я чувствую, насколько велико её сердце. красота в глазах смотрящего, и оля является отличным тому подтверждением, проявляя такую же любовь к украине, как и к франции в своих недавних публикациях в instagram и на facebook из поездки домой. искренних и настоящих людей в современном мире не так уж много, но оля, безусловно, одна из них. её истории мгновенно заставят тебя испытывать эмоции.
