сегодня - последний день лета две тысячи семнадцать, а значит, это идеальное время для того, чтобы поделиться с тобой летними фотографиями, сделанными мною на пленку. я вообще не фотографировала в июне, зато в июле и августе старалась не выходить из дома без фотоаппарата. к сожалению, я не делала снимок каждый раз, когда хотела, но я над этим работаю. и июль, и особенно август получились очень насыщенными. учитывая то, что последние десять дней августа я провела в швеции, мне даже не верится, что так много всего произошло перед моим отъездом. было действительно здорово, и пересматривать эти кадры - особое для меня удовольствие. надеюсь на то, что и тебе они понравятся!

today is the last day of summer two thousand seventeen, which is the perfect time to share the pictures i have taken in the past few months on film. i did not take any pictures in june, but i made sure i had at least one of my cameras with me in july and august. i was getting ready to leave, so i wanted to keep as many memories as possible. unfortunately, i did not take a picture every time i wanted to, but i am working on this skill. both july and august were very eventful. taking to consideration, that i spent the final ten days of august in sweden, it is hard to believe how busy the month had been before my departure. it has been truly great, and it is an extraordinary pleasure for me to look through these images. i hope you will enjoy them as well!

i had four films with me and i used three of them. this one is a mix of things that happened during my last three days in paris. at first i thought that i was "supposed" to have major plans and to do numerous things, but then i realized that it was not true. i was free to do whatever i wanted to do, whatever i felt like doing, and this is exactly what i did. so, i met with people, drank coffee and ate delicious food with them, talked and laughed, wandered around, sat on my own, watched others and asked myself a lot of questions, took pictures and sometimes did not do it despite having an intense desire to capture a particular moment. i experienced the city and i left feeling fullfilled.

this post with pictures on film is special, because it a travel edition. i keep on saying this again and again, but i am not going to stop, - i was extremely happy to go to warsaw and paris in september. both trips filled me with motivation and enthusiasm. also it was exciting to bring a film camera on the road with me, and i am very pleased with the results. i wish i had time to buy more film in order to take more pictures, but i learnt my lesson and i will make sure to be ready next time.

meet alina kolot

as always i am extremely excited to share a new short interview with someone creative, hard-working and inspirational. today it is alina kolot. every time i see alina`s pictures on instagram, i am overwhelmed by how fabulous paris is, as well as by the fact that even every day life can be this beautiful too. however, it is important to point out that the way alina sees and captures the world is universal, because her images from kiev and crimea are equally outstanding. as you could understand, alina is a photographer. her story is especially interesting, because she graduated from university in kiev with a degree in "design and development of industrial and civil engineering" and then realized she wanted to become a professional photographer instead. she has been taking pictures for quite a while, but did not take it as seriously, as she later would. alina moved to paris to study at speos paris photographic institute, which she has successfully graduated from last year. i met alina last autumn and was happy to find out that she did not only take great pictures, but was also a very interesting and pleasant human being to spend time with. you can see alina`s work on her web-site, as well as follow her on instagram, where she has two pages - a private and a professional one. meanwhile, right now you have a chance to get to know alina a little bit more.

сегодня отличный день, потому что у меня для тебе знакомство с еще одной девушкой, которая вдохновляет меня своими мыслями и действиями. зовут её настя нестеренко, и ей двадцать три. она живет в питере, который не только очень красиво снимает для своего профиля в instagram но еще и невероятно тонко и душевно описывает. её посты не пролистываешь в ленте, а оставляешь, чтобы вчитаться и получить наслаждение. каждая публикация - мини-история, после которой всегда хочется еще. кроме того, несколько месяцев назад настя создала свой креативный проект - "классная комната", в рамках которого она и её команда организовывают лекции, встречи, воркшопы. очень надеюсь, однажды побывать на одном из них и познакомиться лично. несмотря на то, что за настей я "слежу" уже довольно давно, почему-то только после ее поста о том, каково жить, когда тебе уже двадцать, но еще не тридцать, меня осенило. я тут же написала насте и она очень быстро мне ответила, за что я безгранично ей благодарна, ведь теперь у меня есть возможность не только рассказать о ней, но и немного вас познакомить.

monday morning started at six am for me. it is now nine and i have already done quite a few things. i am sure your situation is similar to mine, but i would like to steal a couple of your minutes and share new pictures on film. below you can see the result from two different films - first one is perfect (i love that colours are so soft), whereas second one is purple-ish (which is a bit irritating, but i am much more satisfied with it than with two previous films anyway). these pictures were taken at three different locations, but on all of them you can see nature. i have already mentioned that i enjoy being outside more now, than i used to. this is good news, as you always feel so much better after a walk in the park. i will stop now to let you see the photographs and then go do everything you have to do today. i wish you a productive and joyful week :)

утро понедельника началось для меня в шесть утра. сейчас на часах девять и я уже успела сделать довольно много дел. я уверена, что твоя ситуация не сильно отличается от моей, но я бы хотела украсть у тебя пару минут и поделиться результатом двух плёнок - первая просто идеальна (мне очень нравится то, насколько мягкими получились цвета), в то время как вторая снова слегка фиолетовая (это немного раздражает, но я в любом случае, гораздо более довольна ею, чем предыдущими двумя пленками). эти фотографии были сделаны в трёх разных местах, но на всех есть природа. я уже упоминала, что в последнее время получаю гораздо больше удовольствия от природы, чем когда-либо. это хорошая новость, ведь всегда чувствуешь себя лучше после прогулки на свежем воздухе. теперь я закончу болтать и дам тебе возможность посмотреть таки все кадры, а потом взяться за те дела, которые нужно успеть сделать сегодня. я желаю тебе, чтобы неделя была продуктивной и наполненной радостью :)

let`s talk about pictures on film. my desire to start using a film camera again came after i had a couple of my pictures taken on an old film camera about two and a half years ago. i loved them, especially colours. as a result, i realised that i wanted to have more such pictures. i wanted to take them myself. guess what, it took me all this time to finally get a film camera. ridiculous, right? i should not be so slow with my wishes. especially, when they are so simple. the problem was that i could not find my old camera at home, then i asked some relatives and theirs did not work, then i just gave up on the idea, but did not loose a desire to have those special pictures, that you can get when you use a film camera. last week i had an impulse thought - i could not wait anymore. i thought that i wanted to create more unique content for the blog, so i simply bought a camera and film online (why could i not do it earlier?) and received them a couple of days later. i spent my sunday taking pictures of everything around me. it was a lot of fun, and it was a great feeling to finally be doing something, that i have been thinking about for a really long time. i plan to take a lot of pictures on film and i will regularly post them here. below you can see a part of what i shot with my first film in about ten years.

 

а теперь давай поговорим о фотографиях на пленку. мое желание снова начать использовать пленочный фотоаппарат появилось после того, как два с половиной года назад один мой знакомый сделал несколько кадров со мной, от которых я была просто в восторге - особенно от цветов. в результате, я поняла, что хочу больше таких фотографий, что хочу сама их делать. и что ты думаешь? только теперь я обзавелась пленочным фотоаппаратом. просто невероятно! нельзя быть настолько медлительной, когда речь заходит об исполнении своих желаний, еще и таких простых. проблема была в том, что я не нашла свой старый фотоаппарат дома, потом поспрашивала у родственников, чья камера не работала, а я потеряла свой энтузиазм, но желание делать особенные снимки, которые можно получить на пленку, никуда не делось. на прошлой неделе, у меня в голове очень импульсивно появилась мысль о том, что я больше не могла ждать. я поняла, что хочу создавать больше уникального контента для блога, так что я просто зашла в интернет, где купила и фотоаппарат, и пленку (почему я не могла сделать это раньше?). получила их через несколько дней и провела всё воскресенье, делая фотографии всего, что видела вокруг. мне очень понравился сам процесс, а также ощущение того, что я наконец-то делала то, что хотела уже давно. я планирую много снимать на пленку и буду регулярно показывать результат здесь. ниже ты можешь увидеть часть того, что я сняла на свою первую пленку за последние десять лет.

 

 

 

 

the camera, that i bought, has a flash, which works automatically, so it is not my choice, whether it is there or not. i was surprised to see what happened with the pictures of flowers, but, in general, things do not look bad. however, nothing special, of course, as i was simply trying out the camera itself, film and this whole forgotten process. incredibly excited to do more things and to take more pictures. it feels like a totally new source of joy, and i love it! also i have become obsessed with flowers and capturing them, so get ready for a lot of images with them.

all pictures were taken by me with olympus trip 301 and i used kodak film 200.

 

у фотоаппарата, который я купила, есть автоматическая вспышка, так что я не контролирую её присутствие или отсутствие на фото. меня удивил кадр с цветами, но, в целом, все выглядит неплохо. хотя и ничего особенного, конечно, ведь я просто знакомилась с камерой, пленкой и этим давно забытым процессом. очень хочу больше делать и больше снимать. кажется, я нашла новый источник для радости, от чего я просто в восторге! а еще я просто помешалась на цветах и на снимках с ними, так что готовься к тому, что их будет немало.

все фотографии были сделаны на olympus trip 301 с пленкой kodak 200.
