a day in paris / edition five

я очень долго пыталась решить, о чем же писать дальше. с одной стороны, я понимала, что пора наконец-то написать о своем опыте "магического утра" по книге хэла элрода, но с другой, мне хотелось продолжать серию постов о моей недавней поездке в париж. и вот, кажется, я таки признала, что второй вариант мне сейчас интереснее. хочу сделать акцент на том, что произошло это в воскресенье вечером, а пост будет опубликован уже завтра утром. ха! теперь о париже. мне повезло провести там много замечательных дней, и об одном из них я уже писала в своем предыдущем тексте, а теперь хочу рассказать о другом <3

i have been trying to make up my mind and choose what my next post should be about for quite some time. i thought it would be a good idea to finally write about "the miracle morning" program, but it also seemed reasonable to continue the series of posts about my time in paris. i think i have finally realized that the second option is the one that i like more right now. you must know that it is sunday evening and the post will come out tomorrow morning. ha! anyway, i had quite a few fantastic days in paris during my recent trip to my favourite city in the world, and today i want to tell you about one of them. by the way, have you already read my previous post?

a day in paris - одна из моих самых любимых серий в блоге, так что совершенно неудивительно то, что я восторге из-за возможности написать для нее новый пост. я вернулась из парижа на прошлой неделе, а теперь так приятно прокручивать воспоминания в голове и просматривать фотографии, чтобы после разделить все это с тобой. моя поездка длилась две недели, одну из которых я была занята, а вторую - совершенно свободна. кажется, я могла бы написать отдельный текст про каждый свой день в париже, но я буду разумна и ограничусь двумя. открывай полную версию этого поста, чтобы прожить один из них вместе со мной <3

a day in paris is one of my favourite series here on the blog, so it is not going to be a surprise if i say that i am thrilled to write a new post for it. i came back from paris last week, and i am overjoyed to be able to  revisit my memories and images to share them with you later. this trip lasted two weeks, one of which i spent being busy and the other one - completely free to do whatever i wanted to do. it feels like i could write a separate text about each of my days there, but i will limit myself to just two of them. open the full version to re-live one of the days with me <3

yes, i have one more perfect day in paris to tell you about, and the photograph of anya that you can see above is the best possible embodiment of what this day felt like. it was warm and light, joyful and simply great. i cherish these memories and the opportunity to share them with you!

a day in paris / edition two

i wake up feeling exhausted, but excited. it is saturday and it is my first free day in paris. i cannot wait to get ready and to go explore the city! the weather is supposed to be really good today, and the bright blue sky is a proof to that. it is still early and i do not want to make too much noise and bother the nicest people on earth who are helping me out by letting me stay at their place, so i remain quiet in bed. i answer some work e-mails and read a few articles (you have no idea how many of them i had missed in the last ten days). some time later i get ready (how often do you see the eiffel tower from the bathroom window?), have delicious breakfast and leave. i have a walking tour planned, while anya is enjoying her yoga class. as soon as i get outside, it becomes clear that the day is going to be great. the air is still fresh, because it is early morning, but the sun is already getting warm. my goal is to reach park monceau, stay there for a bit and go back. i do not know yet how many beautiful places i will discover on my way, but i am already overjoyed, because i love going on long walks, especially in this city.

a day in paris

i wake up and i know that this is going to be my last day in paris. i am filled with gratitude and joy (thanks, meditation app, for this vocabulary) and, naturally, i am sad. i do not want to leave; i want to stay more than anything else. unfortunately, this is not an option right now, so, at least, i plan to embrace an opportunity and enjoy this city as much as i can. i have not properly packed yet, and that is how i start my day, which is not that big of a deal, as everything i have is already either in my suitcase or in the bags next to it. therefore, i am good.
